We specialise in music lessons for children between the ages of 8-16. Our tutors are enhanced DBS checked and focus on the musical development and importantly the musical enjoyment that your child will grow. This isn’t just for children wanting to be superstar DJ’s, it’s about engaging with and understanding music beyond the present, and looks to encourage their artistic musical development beyond the DJ decks.

We understand music lessons, we took them as children ourselves! We understand that some children are put off by ‘boring’ music instrument lessons. We offer a new approach to their engagement with music learning, and create fun and interactive lessons that will whet their appetite to explore their music and also their creative selves.

As well as teaching them to DJ and learn music theory, we also will teach them about promotion, marketing and producing their own event, with an end of the month ‘Children’s Club night’ where they can invite their school mates and parents to hear their latest ‘mixes’, where they will learn much about music performance, organisational skills and more!

With 20 years experience in the music industry, The Music Department specialist tutors can guide you through from absolute music and DJ beginner all the way through some basic to advanced music theory, selections skills and DJ techniques and also production.

You can choose a whole tailored course, or you can just start up regular lessons and let your teacher find the best way to get you up to speed and exceed your talent.
